Figuring out the best assistive technology device to meet an individual's specific needs can be a tricky process.  Let us help you determine the best device, whether low-tech or high-tech, that will work for you.  Assistive Technology Assessments include an interview, observations across environments, assessment of devices, including keyboards and voice output systems, and report writing.  

Implementation of an Assistive Technology System, using Supported Typing, can be done with Coaching Sessions and Trainings of support teams.  STAR is available to support your communication needs and help you access assistive technology in a meaningful and efficient manner, across environments.  We will work with communication partners and support staff to train them on best practice when using Supported Typing.
