Training and Communication Coaching 

STAR is committed to supporting the communication needs of Supported Typing users.  Communication coaching sessions and staff trainings are available for parents, support providers, communication partners, ABA teams, and school personnel.  The training will be based on the individual communication needs of the student, and cover topics including research-based theories of why the strategy works, motor disturbance in autism spectrum disorder including apraxia, sensory integration, literacy-based instruction, presuming competence in the individual, and learning to type using the least amount of support necessary to achieve success.

Trainings and Communication Coaching sessions are held at our offices or at your site in order to accommodate staff.
